My friend and I have been writing since HS with plans to publish our own superhero and fantasy comics once we're done with college. Well, we are both done with college now so, it's about time we get things moving. For the past 5 years, I've been focusing on just worldbuilding my stories and getting my ideas to a point where I could write the story. I majored in Creative Writing in college which gave me the change to develop my writing, but all the classes I took focused more on novel format writing so, now I have to figure out how to translate what I learned into comic book writing. I already wrote 100 pages for one of my comics in novel format. This video has helped me develop a comic script format that I can use just for adapting what I've written into a comic script. My friend and I intend to be indie comic writers, so I'm not worried about industry standard.

I'm currently working on my own webcomic I started during the pandemic in 2020. My boyfriend has helped me with writing and I also do the art for it. This video is among the loads I've been watching to make my comic better for putting online.

I started just planning out the panels by placing them visually in graphic design software.
From there, I write text in each panel to explain what is seen to myself. :P

I understand there's a specific way to write comics. But, I got confused on how that form of writing stays mindful of the panel size and placement so I just do it this way.

I finally found this video to how to write comics, I am so happy to learn and I am writing my own script in old fashioned way and I was still learning how to write my comic as well writing in full of dialog and inner monologues to make the characters feel so alive and grounded and I want to work as the editor, writer and inker as my dream job in different medias as work for hire soon as I will work in America's workforce since I was Mexican living in United States and living in Phoenix AZ.
