The problem solving part is software engineering not CS, the main difference is SE focuses on solving the *problem* using algorithms and data structures while computer scientists focus more on producing new algorithms and technologies or improving existing ones... think of it as trying to build a city, CS is like drawing the blueprint of the roads, buildings, water and electricity distrbution, ..etc while SE are trying to apply these things to be suitable for human usage (trade off between existing computational resources) and not just producing theory and complex analysis

both of them are important and interchangable btw but choosing the right path is up to you to decide which work style you prefer

Point one and two are contradictions yet facts

I went from comp sci to ECE for a couple reasons

1. I always wanted to be an engineer but got rejected from the program

2. Couldn’t land a comp sci internship this summer

3. I ironically have more connections in engineering fields as compared to comp sci (I know zero people in that field)

Hi can you make a video about telecommunication engineering please and thanks ❤

Retired Programmer, but as a result, I look at the world as problems to be solved and analytical skills are enhanced. No regrets with the decision. Thanks and now enjoy many of your videos.

if you think about it you could use physics in CS if you were coding a physics simulation or anything similiar to that.

I also think is oversaturated because in most cases is extremely broad.

Should I go into CS my dad is a software engineer he said do whatever that interests you I’m more interested in Electrical Engineering should I go into CS because of money

Your thoughts on computer electronics?...SMD?

Could you land an EE job with a computer science degree? If not, is an EE masters worth it? I find the topics of eletrical engineering to be far more fascinating the computer science topics but I already have a superior skill set in computer science and I also love it aswell... just a little more stale, dry and boring in my opinion as compared to eletrical engineering...

Computer science means Math, objective linguistics of a programming language and electronics

How about Information Technology (IT) Degree?

1/10 programmers are passionate about software engineering, the others are just in it for the money.

Thank for the Informatica, its computer science but there's no math at all

Thinking about majoring in cs but a concentration or minor in cybersecurity b/c 1) I feel it’ll be a growing industry 2) if, for some weird reason, it doesn’t work out (even though I like cybersecurity), then my major can allow me job opportunities elsewhere in the cs field.

Idk if this is a good plan or not tho

I studied computer science even though I wanted EEE.

Mathematics is bound by physical/natural law.

The only reason I got here... Is to avoid the mandatory conscription into the army till I'm moving out of the country.

Now I see no reason to continue. I hate math, I hate programming.

Computers are based logic, not math. Math is used to describe logic, to emulate logical states, to enable for the materials to be built and interoperate. Computation though, is logic, not math. Logic builds math.
