I mapped out Genshin Impact again

Using the new bug that was found, was pretty fun. Definitely didn't spend 3 weeks making this video.

Mapped out all of Teyvat including Fontaine, Natlan, Sneznaya.

Childe's brother Teucer took a boat from Snezhnaya to Liyue when we first meet him in Childe's story quest, so I could assume that Snezhnaya has to be somewhere near a body of water, so an island could be a possibility.

It's so crazy to think that after Fontaine is done we only have 2 more big regions. Genshin has come a long way since release.

There's a weird yellow tree located east of the opera. It's a small 2d texture from afar, but once you get close it turns into a big 3d model. One thing you missed.

Your thought about Snezhnaya, currently not being part of the map, is actually brilliant. When the map was expanded with 4.1, I was shocked to see, that Fontaine actually boarders the northern edge of the map. I thought to myself "wait. When Fontaine stretches this far, and Mondstadt is most likely expanded as well in the future, as we are still missing Ventis second story quest... where in the world is Snezhnaya going to be?!" So, yeah. You got a really reasonable explanation where it could be.

Forget dornman port and chenyu vale, i just want the dang southern coastline of liyue and sumeru to be unlocked. Please mihoyo, just that sliver of land being out of bounds is giving me anxiety.

There's an NPC in sumeru city port that said Natlan is just across the dessert. The said npc also gave out the location of Romaritime Harbor, and Chenyu Vale.

i think snezhnaya is above mondstadt since the fatui are stealing gnosis from the same region we are in. like they started with mondstadt, first neighbouring region, and we re basically following them to everywhere else

You're actually right about the tower being in 4.2 with lumidouce port but before Fontaine was introduced in the game an npc mentioned "petrichor" and it is supposed to be another city or just a small town but like did everyone forget about that?

From all dialog mentions and lore currently in the game, it induces the understanding that Snezhnaya is an very large icy nation north of all the nations bordering only Fontaine and Mondstadt, the shape would much remember Russia while Natlan is an volcanic island nation isolated from everyone and everything to the northwest of Sumeru/West of Fontaine, in fact according to lore in the web comic of Genshim, they suffered very little impact from the khaenri'ah disaster/cataclysm and display an tribalistic/isolationist nature, with very few red haired people from there ever being seen around Teyvat outside of the nation proper, usually nomads, but that as far as we know.

I really hope that like one of these days we will get Mondstadt expansion which is Dorman Port (also I feel that Mondstadt is too small and have barely anything). If it will happen, my guess Snezhnaya could be connected to that area (north Mondstadt).

Also from my own wishful thinking, if Natlan and Snezhnaya are side by side I want a region where eternal flames and eternal ice surround the land. That’ll be cool.

I just want the space between Fontaine, Mondstat, and Sumeru to be filled in as well as between Sumeru and Inazuma. With the introduction of Sumeru the shape of the map has just looked more and more like a d*ck. Inazuma’s southern point definitely doesn’t help.
