I CAN NOT WAIT for the Mondstadt expansion! Walking around Natlan and seeing how well it's populated in built up areas makes Mondstadt feel like a ghost town now.
I wonder if they will ever bring the main Mondstadt city up to date and add in little things like people dancing at the bottom of Venti's statue listening to street performers/ bards, people actually kneeling down making wishes at the fountain or throwing coins in etc
The Mondstadt NPC's definitely feel a little dated now, but it's also interesting to see how far the capability of the game has increased over the years.

Jaylan is HUGE, You have to think about it like this, Nathan has more elevation then the other regions meaning we have more in a “small” compacted area in a vertical range

Natlan looks small but its large if you think vertically. Mondstat (the smallest of the bunch ingame) looks like is as bigger area as sumeru if it extends to the north but it's just a placeholder. Sumeru and Fontaine is mostly a complete map besides if they add islands compared to inazuma. Liyue is mostly complete.
