I remember when I was a child and watched this I always pictured myself as Frodo on a adventure with friends, working to makes the world a better place on a grand journey. Now I am older I can only see myself in Aragorn, on the journey to build for a better future for his kin, and a lover. It’s either revealing about how sad I am or it shows how impressive Tolkien was a author, but I feel like after watching these movies I’ve changed my outlook on love, I used to be obsessed with the physical, sex and the like as much of modern western culture and internet culture is focused on. after it all I want to do is have someone to hold, someone I can love. Someone who I can say was what made it worth it all, someone one that makes me whole.

I'm not a fan of the movie franchise but I adore Arwen. I love her character, I understand she made sacrifices to be with the one she loved but as she said, "This was my choice." She knew the consequences, and yet she loved. Her father was protective, worried for her but he loved her dearly.

I watched the LOTR series in the cinema. I was 13 at the time at the beginning of the movie. 21 years later, Arwen popped into my mind. I've been watching all the videos about Arwen for the last 3 weeks.
