Windows 8 UI Evolution!

One of the versions of Windows that had various beta transformations was Windows 8. As such, here's a video showing how Windows 8 has evolved from build 7850 up to build 9600 (Windows 8.1 RTM). Please note that only builds with significant changes are included.

I feel like Windows 8.1's reputation was destroyed by Windows 8. Windows 8.1 was/is Windows 7 with touch support for a type of device that was only just entering the market. I think it was a bit like Windows Vista where the OS was great but the hardware was not ready. I am running Windows 11 on that kind of device and I think I might put 8.1 on there while I wait for more touch support on Linux desktop environments.

I dont know why people did not like the windows 8 but for me the start on windows 8 is the best and most unique thing windows ever got.

I don't hate windows 8 but hey those beta and RTM backgrounds look pretty dazzling even windows 8.1 seems more underrated than windows 10.
