I disagree because once a hair follicle has been activated and is growing thick and long it will remain that way. The only way to remove is electrolysis. HOWEVER, this is great advice for preventing any future hair growth as well as other symptoms

Ok. So the study I’ve read says that it must be hot, steeped at least 15 minutes and taken at the same time every day. Much like birth control. Results should be seen in 1-3 months. It has helped with sleeping and mood so far. Still waiting to see difference with my hair issues.

Spironolactone gave me low energy and mood swings. I’m not sure if it actually benefitted my health, but the side effects were so overwhelming I had to get off☹️

I have taken spearmint tea for a long time.. And it didn't help me at all. The thing is we cannot compare a drug, with known mechanism, dose etc to a herb unless we find its effective dose.

I've been drinking Spironolactone for almost 3 years now, and she is completely right. My face, literally 3 months in cleared up perfectly and just left me with hyperpigmentation. Prior to that I've had sevete acne for 8 years.

Maybe not for everyone. I drink spearmint tea everyday since I was 15, now I'm 30. And I have excessive hair growth on my belly and face from pcos so I unfortunately have to take spironolactone.

I never got any results with spearmint tea. Its been a month. Also I am not sure if it’s genuinely spearmint or not. As I am in India I am not sure if it’s legit.

Tea did nothing for me - the drug def did, and luckily I had no side effects.

Hi how often do you drink it? And for how long when you started getting results?

I've been drinking spearmint tea since i was a kid and i still had all my pcos symptoms and now a strong beard. When you say "without the side effects" do you mean without the "results"?

Question: is spearmint the same as peppermint and/or mint?

Any more tips to rid me of this cursed facial hair 😭

Except spearmint tea isn’t as effective. I took cyproterone acetate instead though. I don’t take spearmint at the moment because I found out that correcting dietary deficiencies and working on circadian light cycles with the sun is more effective because it corrects the entire endocrine dysfunction.

Have a doubt...can we drink spearmint tea, one hour after consuming chamomile tea

Is that why the pills smell minty? 🤔 😊
