Definitely an important distinction. They get conflated so much that I used to think that Leftism was just about having "more black billionaires" or "more trans CEOs", a simple, meaningless gesture for who should be at the top of the pyramid. Part of what pulled me recently to the ACTUAL left was the discovery that most of that kind of stuff was actually just liberalism. Also that capitalism has metaphorically kicked me in the nuts... like really, really hard... and I'm not particularly happy about it.

Vaush's recent critique of a planned economy was painful; even admitted mid critique that he didn't know basically anything about planned economies. Pointed out problems in the Soviet Union, blamed the planned economy, and conveniently didn't mention how the current political and economic situation in modern Balkans and Russia.

Just a tip, you should outline text if you're going to present it in front of a moving background like a video clip. The list of the "tenants of liberalism" starting at 3:24 is difficult to read due to the background video. Otherwise, this was a pretty good basic summary of contemporary political ideologies.

The main difference is that when you commit the heinous crime of criticism in a liberal society you don't get executed. I know, its so dystopian it send a shiver down my spine.

There is a mistake in this video. The Aztecs were not a civilization in South America; they are a civilization of North America (specifically in the region that is now known as Mexico). The Aztecs sacrificed prisoners of war to many different gods. Tlaloc, Huitzilopochtli, Tonatiuh. The clip that was used for this segment comes from the movie Apocalypto, which was based on the Mayans and did a very terrible job of depicting the Mayans since there are few cases they did human sacrifices.
