I’ve done keto before and did well, not much OMAD, I mostly did 18/19 hours fast and two meals less than total 25g net carbs. I fell off the wagon and a year later need to lose 6st. I kicked off with 8 day water fast, 3 day refeed and 7 days keto Omad. Then 5 day water fast, 3 day refeed and 7 days all very clean keto omad. Lost 32lbs in 21 days (only 40 min dog walk per day). The last week I’ve not lost any weight. Wonder if I should just switch to 16/8 and introduce some more exercise like weightlifting and more walking for next 28 days? Any suggestions welcome.

I started omad with keto, and lost 30lbs in 3 months... It totally messed up my thyroid! It swelled and developed nodules. I stopped losing all weight and started gaining again. I switched from keto to carnivore and it made it worse! And my keto rash came back with a vengeance! I'm scared to stop keto in intermittent fasting because I don't want to regain all of the weight I work so hard to lose. But if I permanently screw up my thyroid then it will all be for nothing anyways!

Carbs for your thyroid tagged my BS meter too! I have NEVER heard that mess. The problem here is keto instead of carnivore.

Saying thyroid health requires carbs tripped my bullshit meter. Makes me question the rest of her claims, Why didn't our ancestors have severe thyroid problems in the last millions of years?
