I am feeling my best when I eat small portions of beans several times per day (soluble fiber, stable blood sugar, have the idea from Karen Hurd), whole fruits, salads and try to stay away from crappy food, coffee (I drink Matcha tea: L-Theanin helps). To calm the nervous system, leave dorsal vagal / sympathetic state and enter ventral vagal, I do daily practices like somatic exercises, writing down fears (like crappy childhood fairy teaches it), eye yoga, Qigong shaking, TRE, ...

Stop with the carb phobia. If I don't eat enough healthy whole food carbs from fruits, tubers and grains, I cant sleep well which makes my ADD waaay worse. Why does no one notice that most "carbs" people eat, are also loaded in fat? When I eat a high fat high carb meal mental clarity and motivation goes way down. If I eat a big bowl of fruit or a smoothie with the same amount of calories, I have energy and can focus well. Fruit helps with sleep later on, and gives me energy during the day.
