Quick easy Tutorial on removing and taking part your center console in a 2015 jeep wrangler it can be fun getting off the 4x4 knob but after that it's super easy

Ok so this did finally work for me. I had to put both seats back as far as it would go and basically straddle the console to get a good grip and then it actually came off pretty easy

Rotating it slightly back forth is the key to removing. Do this will pulling upward. Thanks for the video.

This was helpful. However, I took my cup holders out to wash them and unplugged the light. I don't see an easy way to plug it back in without taking the lower section off. Anyone have a suggestion?

I'd just like to see the bottom and top halves of the center floor console removed so that I could figure out how to get my top half to stay latched back by the cupholders to the bottom half! No videos for such. I've tried to get the bottom half out but it must be the referenced cupholder plug for the light that is keeping it in place. Ugh... To remove the transfer case knob for the first (second, third, etc. times, use a strap ratchet from Home Depot). It makes it much easier by twisting the knob back and forth. Or just buy after market knobs that are held on by a set screw.

my 09 jk comes out in one big plastic piece and has different shift knobs and have to get it off to put the shift cable back on the 4 wheel drive shifter

You literally didn't remove the center council! It doesn't just lift out easily. Now I've got the passenger seat out, you've gotta pull up some carpet and get to the wiring harness and unplug the big plug after you unhook the cupholder wire. Now I'm about to go take the back tires off so that I can get the brake lever to come up all the way. Retitling your post to say remove the top half of the council fool

Thank you, lost a lug nut inside it by the hand brake. Dumb jeep design stole my nut, lol 😂
