Discover how to set up and start using your Samsung TV with this step-by-step guide.
Following the on-screen instructions, the steps are simple:
1. Select your country
2. Enter a new PIN
3. Connect and turn on your aerial and devices
4. Select whether you want to use Intelligent Mode
5. Choose your WiFi network from the list and enter your password
6. Read and accept the terms and conditions
7. Sign in to your Samsung account or create an account if you don't have one
8. Choose whether you want to create your Voice ID
9. Run a backup from Samsung Cloud if resetting or replacing an old Samsung TV
10. Enter the first half of your postcode
11. Create your Smart Hub
12 Test your Smart remote and start enjoying your new TV
To set up using the SmartThings app on your mobile device, follow the below steps
Please note: a Samsung account is required
1. Your phone automatically connects to your TV when you begin the set up
2. Tap set up when the prompt appears on your phone
3. Follow the on-screen instructions
4. Your WiFi and Samsung account information is shared to your TV.
If you need to pair your Bluetooth Smart remote:
1. Simply press and hold Play/Pause and Return keys simultaneously while pointing the remote at the Samsung logo on your TV.
