Here are some great weight loss snacks to enjoy and some snacks you may not know you should avoid.

In this video, we’re going to talk about weight loss snacks. If you have a slow metabolism, a lot of the foods that you’re told are healthy weight loss snacks are actually bad. 

Best healthy snacks: 
• Peanut butter (do not buy peanut butter with added sugar)
• Hummus
• Cheese

Worst snacks for weight loss:
• Fruit 
• Protein bars 
• Yogurt 

You don’t want to put peanut butter or hummus on crackers or apples. Instead, try putting it on celery or carrots if you’re trying to lose weight. 

If you have bloating from any food, including healthy foods, you may need to omit those foods because bloating with stop weight loss.

I need to respond due to people making nasty comments. Our friend lost 100 lbs in 3 months following this way of eating but he did it PERFECTLY. He said the fat literally melted off, sometimes 10 lbs a week. Please don't suggest he didn't have muscle or didn't look good afterward--he did. He competes in shot put contests in Europe every year and believe me, he's very strong, even after his weight loss. Dr. Berg I so appreciate ALL of your videos!! My biggest problem is not sticking to this way of eating perfectly enough to stay in ketosis. You've inspired me and I'm starting again! Thank you Dr Berg!!

I finally eliminated all snacks completely when i learned that eating anything can cause some gut hormones to call for the release of a bit of insulin. I find it very powerful to eat a maximum of 2 meals a day, preferably one meal if a person can do it. A professor that I knew who only ate once a day kept the weight off for 40 years.

Good: peanut butter(no added sugar), hummus(zero sugar), cheese (with tomato) (fermented, eats all the bad sugar)
Bad:fruit (slow down weight loss, too sweet), yogurt(even plain has even 20g/cup), Kefia

I’ve been following Dr Berg since June 2019, to a T... and I must admit, we both look healthier and younger and thinner today.
I even put my little pup (who was was 7 years old at the time) on intermittent fasting, and she went from plump to fit in no time at all-thank you

Dr Berg looks a lot more healthy, younger today than he does in this 5 year old video. The puffy eyes are gone as well as his skin is clearer and he's leaner. Well done. I've lost 10 lbs in 20 days with vegan keto, calorie restriction and IF for 18 hrs a day. Easy peasy. I recommend this eating style

I make flax seed meal 'crackers' from a cup of flax meal and a cup of water and 1 tsp sea salt and stir. Spread on silcone sheet and bake 1 hour at 200F . Take out and carefully make squares by pressing down on the dough with a ruler.Put back in oven for another 1-2 hours, or until very dry. Re-cut the squares with the ruler and break apart gently when cool. These are great for spreading with Peanut butter or hummus.

I use eat a lot of protein bars wondering why I was stagnant for up to 6 months of not losing weight...sugar is the culprit. I've replaced the protein bars with eating more cheese instead. So far I'm still losing weight. Being on the road a lot as a truck driver can be challenging. I now get most of my food from a grocery store rather than a truck stop switching from processed to more organic. It makes a Huuuuge difference.

for someone who was raised on fast food and is trying to reverse all that damage at 25 while trying to take a healthier approach than just not eating like i have done in the past this video is so friggin helpful. i often feel like i dont even know what a person should eat

Ricotta cheese, (organic, no additives) has the protein that will convert my hunger and fuel hard work. Also, when you get crazy hungry, drink a cool glass of water with lemon. After ten minutes and 90% of the time, the hunger will diminish.

1 cup coconut oil, 1 cup peanut butter, 1/4 cup coco powder, 1 cup almonds. Mix oil, p.butter, and coco powder wihile in pan on medium/ low heat stir until melted and smooth. Pour into pre oiled pan. Sprinkle almonds in. Place in freezer. When hardened, break up into chunks. Keep in freezer for a dessert. Careful to practice self control. Two 1 inch pieces should suffice. Your welcome.
