We Tried the Best and Worst Snacks in Ohio

We went to Ohio’s largest grocery store and bought the weirdest snack, candies, and drinks we could find. Some are gross, some are cursed, and some are too strange for Jude and Bren. Ever wanted to taste test a pickle lollipop? Curious about what a Scorpion would taste like? How about Lays chips from China? Whatever you choose, don’t forget to wash it down with a dirt soda. All from Jungle Jim’s (allegedly the worlds largest grocery store).

My favorite part about Jungle Jim's from my limited experiences there is that the prices tend to be cheaper then the typical supermarkets like Krogers, really put me off on my first visit lol. It's weird that you'd go for the novelty and international food but it, and even the normal brands you see everywhere, ends up being mostly cheaper then a weekly trip to Krogers.

There’s a store on the corner of my city’s main square that sells all sorts of weird soda flavors. We decided to buy some and create a game. It was basically trivia and if you got it wrong, you picked a number that would correspond with a drink. The drinks were shuffled every time one was poured, so they were never all in the same place consecutively. The worst one I had was Ketchup Soda, but I was told the Pickle and Marshmallow flavors were pretty bad too.

JUNGLE JIM'S MENTION!! This store used to horrify me as a kid and now thankfully I love it. Even went to a wedding to a venue connected to it, and got to see the store from above! Very fun place 😄

I was excited to see them drink Aloe drinks, I recently tried them and love them! I wonder if it depends on the brand because mine tastes so good lol
