In this video, I compare various brands of ant traps with live ants which were invading our living space. I determine that the Terro brand of ant traps is much more effective than standard Raid or Raid MAX traps.

Depends on the ant type and time.

I’ve used Terro and eventually my ants ignore it completely.

But they pretty much ignore everything eventually, with the exception of frequent repellant application.

Has anyone notices when you lay these suddenly ants are ALL over the house... no longer do they March in a line to a source... nope they're all disoriented doing circles EVERYWHERE.

I think that traps are sort of "Gilding the Lilly." Just pouring Terro liquid-or dumping it out of the trap, draws ants to the puddle, like Wildebeest to an African watering hole. Same with Indoxycarb bait. Just squeeze it out where ants are seen (the Raid Max trap uses that poison, or a similar one.)
