In Amanda the Adventurer 2, the story continues as Riley encounters a mysterious masked figure after destroying the TV in the attic. Travel to the Kensdale Public Library and dig deeper into the mystery of Amanda the Adventurer. Amanda the Adventurer 2 follows Riley Park, who, after seeing what was contained on the mysterious tapes in their attic, travels to the Kensdale Public Library to investigate further. Upon arriving, they're greeted by a masked figure who claims to know their Aunt Kate, before she died and needs their help finding something Aunt Kate had left in the library. They also warn of a powerful entity that seems to be drawn to the tapes.

Meanwhile, Amanda is now aware of Riley's presence, and is doing everything to find a way to free herself. Suddenly, the stakes are higher than ever before, as it's not just Amanda looking for Riley now...

Can we just talk about Amanda’s voice actress? Major props! Her acting makes Amanda so sympathetic, sassy, sarcastic yet terrifying at the same time.

The opossum approached the screen when it heard Joanne's voice, and it seemed to try and say her name. Joanne also mentioned that her brother Jordan was trapped inside the tapes.

So basically the monster in the true ending is Wooly’s entity, who literally killed Joanne after confessing the truth to Riley. Amanda’s entity also appears to be afraid of the Wooly entity as it freaks out when given the Wooly plush and it flees when it hears its roar. Due to the aggressive nature of this creature, it could be the true antagonist of the series. Not to mention the broken tape, where it looks like Wooly is tormenting Amanda. Had me thinking that Wooly is the evil one.

I think that Wooly is Peter. Amanda says she used to trust Wooly in one of the secret answers during the "Do You Feel Safe?" tape. She was probably relieved at first to have an ally with her in the show, and especially a trusted adult. Peter was trying to help everyone figure out what was going on, but he was constantly discouraging Kate and the others from doing anything to dangerous or rash and insisted that they needed to lay low- which is exactly what he wants Amanda (or Rebecca) to do in the show. He, as Wooly, encourages her to just follow along and pretend everything is okay. Amanda wants everyone who watches the show to discover everything, really leans into the horror and the truth, and is very upfront about her hatred for everything. If Peter IS Wooly, he is probably worried about Amanda/Rebecca drawing the wrong attention to the tapes (Hameln) and being trapped forever so he prefers to play along until further notice, and wants Rebecca to do the same. We know that smashing the tapes is NOT the solution because in the true ending, Joanne says someone (likely from Hameln) came to her and encouraged her to smash the tapes- but she doesnt want to be Hameln's pawn anymore, and that Kate wanted to find the truth instead of destroying the tapes. She even says that in her actions, she led Hameln to Kate's house by mistake. Which is exactly what Peter as Wooly does NOT want. He ultimately wants to protect the tapes, I believe, as breaking them frees the soul of the child but also likely kills the child attached to the episode. Or maybe he simply doesn't know what will happen if the tapes are destroyed. Amanda/Rebecca doesn't seem to necessarily care or know what the solution is, or if the tapes are smashed and she dies, she just wants to be put out of her misery like how she speaks about the butterfly with one wing in the tape about fixing what has broken. What do you guys think about this??

I think that was wooly at the end and that he was a demon too just like Amanda so now we will need to figure out what to do to stop the demons and now the place where the next game will start is in the bunker also now that Joanne is dead we will be alone

i think it’s hilarious how kate left riley an audio tape about DO NOT WATCH THE TAPES hidden in a tape instead of in plain sight
edit: i jus used my critical thinking skills and realized if she died in this crash then how would the audio tape have gotten in one of the tapes in the first place? if it’s the demon(s) or amanda messing with us why would they give us a audio tape saying DONT WATCH THE TAPES? unless they jus wanted to cause riley distress by hearing the aunt’s last words? or maybe im just thinking about it too hard since you gotta do puzzles to find everything in this game

Sometimes I wonder if Sam reading the Alice in Wonderland book alludes to what Amanda is going through. She sometimes makes allusions that she can 'feel herself rotting' or 'feel weird'. I wonder if the show she's trapped in is like a dream but her body itself is kept mutilated and miserable so that she keeps herself in the show as a form of disassociation. I wonder if moments where the screen fades to dark black-red is her having moments where she's more aware of her own body, as if she's waking up from the 'dream' that is now her life. There may be even a chance where the only way to set her free is to let her body die. I think that's why Kate said that she couldn't be saved. I also think Wooly tries to protect her and the reason we see him at the end is because those tapes are what are keeping both of them away from the misery they're enduring. He also seems a bit more upset with Riley (Us) for 'letting a stranger in' so he might be like 'Oh you're not here to help. You're not a hapless victim. You're one of the bad guys!' That's why his demon wasn't seen until the end.
