OCD, or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, is often referred to as a thief because it robs individuals of their time, energy, and often their peace of mind. The disorder is characterized by unwanted, intrusive thoughts or obsessions that cause anxiety and distress, as well as repetitive behaviors or compulsions that are performed to try to alleviate this anxiety.

OCD can also rob individuals of their sense of control and autonomy. People with OCD may feel like they are constantly at the mercy of their thoughts and compulsions, which can be frustrating and demoralizing.

I wished I had understand that OCD is a thief of life before. I lost so many beautiful moments of my life for my OCD. For the ones who suffered of this 2 tips:
1. Imagine being old, losing the most precious time of your life like the 20's all because of OCD, having wrinkles in your face and realize you never live your life, for example on the weekends you stayed in cleaning your home instead of going out with friends or explore the world.
2. Look for help, therapy, medications if necessary (I know many people disagree with this because culture has teach us that medications are bad, but think that is like when you have a fracture and need crutches, that doesn't mean you are gonna need them forever, but how are you gonna get any better if you don't use them). Something that work wonderful for me was having a pet.

Im fight this thoughts, since im realize that im not suppose to be when im plan, thinks all work as im suppose to be but then, its went wrong when im start overdue thinks, then yesterday im start make move that i cant stand anymore cut the nonsense, ill do anything despite overdue thinks, and a progress been made so i congratulate my self, ocd is only yourself can help, fight the overdue thoughts

It does steal money. If we’re too busy with our thoughts to bring in an income or handle finances, the money is not abundant.

How do you do this when your compulsions are mental compulsions and they seem automatic? 😭 it’s so hard so just let terrible intrusive thoughts just “be”.

Well OCD also consumed Money as Mine medicines of serotonin and other SSRI's cost $55 per month ( ₹4500 as of Indian )

OCD wasting Money, time, energy, It's Kinda Ruining life
But now not anymore

It's like when you're scared of a spider and then you realize that it just stays in its corner and catches houseflies. So turns out it's not actually a scary monster, it's just something that's in the background, not really bothering anything or anybody. Except houseflies I guess

Nathan how do we forgive ourselves for having taboo intrusive thoughts? I feel like my mind is tainted for having certain thoughts. Like I won’t be able to fully recover and forgive myself for having them. I know they are silly thoughts but I fear that I’ve opened the flood gates to worse ones.
It’s causing me to be depressed and on the brink of a panic attack all day. I’m a mom to a young child and unfortunately a lot of my thoughts are about him. It’s killing me inside. I don’t know how much more of this guilt I can take.

I pick out my eyelashes and hair I have to blink for every car I have to make sure everything is even or it drives me INSANE I bite my nails to the point where it bleeds I am only 12 and I hate it so much sometimes I just start to cry in public
