Tina with pink cotton candy hair and grey contacts looks so good 😍👌👌, but I have dark brown eyes and grey or a greenish brown are my go to color for contacts.

Hi Tina,
I work as a optometrist in Denmark. Here in Denmark, we don't recommend buying contact lenses on the internet, because you could potentionally damage your eyes if you don't use a contact lens that suits you. Every person is different and people could suffer from dry eyes and staining which you can't possible see or evaluate yourself if you are not an optometrist or have the right equipment. We often see and hear alot of people who buys on the internet and have permanently damaged their eyes because of that. You should always with an good optometrists guides find out which product that suits you and doesn't prevent the oxygen to enter your eyes.
An option is also to buy on the internet AND THEN get our prefered optometrist to do a contact lens check.

omg I'd love to try out the daily clalen ones! they look so good on you :)

the reason why coloured contacts may not feel comfortable, is because you're actually feeling the extra colour layer on top of the lenses (I hope that makes sense lol). this could be due to the fact that the brand is using old technology. most coloured contact lenses on the market have since improved the comfort wear, which is why they feel more comfortable! whether it's by fusing the colour part into the actual lens itself :) I'd suggest avoiding freshlook, I'm not a huge fan of them since they're sooo uncomfortable

also, for anyone else that wants to try colour/cosmetic contacts, make sure to have a contact lenses fitting done! find out what your parameters are because each lenses/brands have their own measurements, and you want to make sure you're wearing the appropriate ones... either wise you can cause damage to your eyes!

You do it the right way, popping the lenses in! The applicator is usually used for "hard lenses"

I like that you pointed out that grey is a good starting colour. A lot of people do go straight towards looking unnatural, and overlook grey as an eye colour compared to electric or baby blue.

I wear prescription contacts, and I was taught to drag the lens onto the white of the eye before you pull it out, as there's a slight chance of damage to the eye.

Tina, as someone who use to wear contacts all the time because I hated my glasses you are putting in the contacts just fine.

I have tried contact lense before, that I bought at the mall. It was foggy looking, so I never wore it again.
I'm so glad you posted this up. Now I cant actually try on lenses that's not foggy looking. Thank you again!
