I think Linux is perfect for these kinds of devices. Especially some of the very lightweight distros.

It's a cool little device, but a little too pricey for me. I'd rather spend that money on upgrading my desktop system.

i do fancy these little devices with decent keyboards and nice screens.... awesome it has good working pen as well, having linux on that is just heaven but i sure wipe the disk and install it on the internal drive instead of running in test mode from the usb stick

$1, 000 is a bit high. I'd say $400 is probably more appropriate.

When you type hard or fast is there screen wobble? One thing I have found with single hinge devices like this is that fast or hard typing can cause the display to wobble which can get really distracting once you notice it.

is KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse(over usb c-in and hdmi-in module)) still running under linux?

How about power consumption as well on Ubuntu? Could you please test it? Could you please also test temperature\CPU throttling for at least 30 min stress test?

I would have preferred the smaller form factor TBH. I get what they are trying to do but having carried pocket computers since 1984 I find distinct advantages to a truly trouser friendly form factor.

I think Fedora supports fractional scaling, it just requires copy pasting one or two terminal commands. I assume that since the Gnome on Fedora is so close to vanilla Gnome that it comes from there. Fractional scaling isn't the most stable feature yet
