Navy fed closed my major and oldest credit account. I feel horrible. They closed it without a letter so I requested one. I made payments on it throughout February March April and they closed in in January. Lord have mercy.

Happened to me today. With schrony. Just closed it. Had a 680 score. Closed it never missed a payment. They said it’s bc I don’t have a car or home loan. I PAID MY CAR OF . Assholes. Then I had 6k available they dropped my limit to $700 paid that down and now they closed it WITH A BALANCE

I had opened an account with Best Buy and they gave me a credit line of $500… less than a week before the card showed up in the mail they closed the account.. I used some of the money thru a virtual card but I’m like do I really owe em? 😂

Synchrony did this. closed the account and never said anything. I found out when i went to make a payment and could not get online. Posted as 'closed for non payment'. reversed all my payments and have been slapping late fees, card fees, whatever fee on there since - and expect me to pay it all

Its a cascade. Two bad debts dropped off my credit report this month. It dropped my score 23 points?! Then I went into a lower tier. Then Bank of America seeing that it went down, closed my account. Now its going to drop more.
