This is one of the cases i really felt strongly about. His mother should have been arrested and charged with murder. She knew about the animals and psychotic behaviours and still wanted him out of the facilities. Their blood is on her hands. The other I feel strongly about is the Dardeen family, that was brutal.

Think out of all the serial killers I have ever heard about, I think Richard Chase is the most disturbing one out of all of them.

The Winston Mosley case is absolutely atrocious, why didn’t no one go and help the poor girl? Knowing what was happening to her? They’re just as guilty as the murderer in my eyes. The least that they could’ve done is call the police straight away, even if they didn’t want to get physically involved.

How that jury found Chase to be sane is beyond confusing. His issues clearly went back to childhood, long before his murdering began. If, considering the totality of his story, he isn't insane then who is?

If I had a patient who was killing animals and drinking their blood, I would most certainly not say he was no danger to anyone and let him go. If anything, I would probably increase the security around him and make sure he couldn't get access to anyone or anything without close observation from a doctor. It's crazy that they let him go in that state.

If Richard Chase was tried today I doubt very much he would have been declared competent to stand trial.

Im honestly just very alarmed and disappointed in regards to his family's attitude towards his very obvious illness.
