That’s so sad. His poor family spent the rest of their lives wondering what became of him. I’m glad that he has his name back, and hopefully they’ll be able to find out who killed him even if that person is long deceased at least it would be something, a little justice.

It’s so unfortunate that his parents passed away before they could learn that he had been found. It would be nice to know who, and why, but that was 50 years ago. His killers might not even be alive anymore. It’s amazing how Othram Inc, the lab that ID’d him, can take just a few cells from the smallest sample, and extract, replicate, and identify the DNA when other labs fail.

Rindahl was 22 and living with a roommate in New Brighton at the time of his disappearance. His siblings told police that the FBI had been looking for their brother prior to his disappearance “due to some involvement with drugs, ” Lovering said. The FBI case records have not been located. Sadly, Rindahl’s parents died without knowing what happened to their son. Survived by siblings

so just to clarify, he was found in 2003 and authorities thought it had been up to 28 years since he was buried but he hasn’t been seen/heard from in 33 years?

He was buried in some man's backyard Who owned the house previously or at the time that the guy disappeared cannot be that difficult people
