Fuel injector cleaning

I am in the process of replacing the upper and lower intake gaskets on my 1998 Ford Ranger 4.0L. I decided to pull the fuel rail off the lower intake and try to clean the fuel injectors. I hooked up the injector to a short piece of fuel hose and attached a plastic syringe to it. I also hooked two alligator clips with wires to the injector and to a battery. Then I ran some fuel injector cleaner thru the injector via the syringe and this is showing the spray pattern.
