Loved him in Jackie Brown! “Is white guilt supposed to make me forget I’m running a business??”

He was one hell of a man and an extraordinary motivational speaker. Although I never met Mr. Forster, he helped get over a very difficult divorce. Some of his writing is part of my daily devotional routine. He wrote, "Accept what is. Deliver excellent now. Never quit. You can win it in the final inning." Thank you Mr. Forster.

I loved this guy!!! I believe my favorite though, was the dispensary owner/father of Tim Allen on Last Man Standing and it was watching this show when I noticed he wasn't there any more and Googled only to sadly find out that he had passed....Rest in Peace sir...

Jackie Brown is terribly underappreciated. It's a bit slower, made for certain adults. One must be strategic & the slightest bit disciplined regarding timing watch times for such films. Be in the right mood to take in such a film...relaxed, yet not sleepy (at all) & able to fully focus on the story.

Robert Forster absolutely crushed his role & could have easily won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar that year... What an old school aura.

Like most of Quinten's films, he was hardly alone, as the ensemble cast really delivered. I adore it & couldn't recommend it more to those who perhaps let unqualified critics keep them away f/this one.

It's a uniquely cool story about small-time criminals trying to move up the score size food chain. And, executed with *_fully_* intact Tarantino panache.

An acquaintance of mine worked as a key grip on “Jackie Brown”. He said Robert was one of the nicest people he ever worked with.

The first thing I saw him was The Black Hole in 1979. It was Disney's first PG movie. Jackie Brown is easily my favorite Tarantino movie.

For REFLECTIONS ON A GOLDEN EYE to be his first role is astounding. He is the silent naked man on a horse who flirts with Marlon Brando without speaking, but very provocatively. An overall silent character consolidating the “homosexual gaze” on a very early film, which is also a John Huston’s masterpiece. Incredible to realize it is him! Thanks.
