We show how to solve quadratic equations by completing the square in this video. The equation that we use to demonstrate the process is x^2-4x+3=0. Even though it is easier to solve this quadratic equation by factoring or using the quadratic formula, it is still important to learn how to use the process of completing square through solving a quadratic equation.

In the end of the video, Wilson attempts to explain WHY the CTS methodology works. To make it as clear as possible, you're basically taking whatever problem you're given and are "Equating The Coefficients, " using the basic formula (a = 1): x^2 + 2ax + b^2 + n. When you're CTS and not dealing with a Perfect Square trinomial, "n" represents the leftover constant. When you have a PST, the "n" = 0. I hope this helps.
