Those textures are appalling. The unit tops at the end look like they're actually missing textures altogether. The engine seems largely unchanged, as all the glitches and idiosyncrasies remain - wonky animations, omniscient AI, clipping, etc.

Visually it's extremely dated, especially compared to games like The Witcher 3 and Far Cry 4. Bethesda really needs to build a new engine from scratch, as this is last-gen.

Skyrim was insanely beautiful though, even before mods. I really wish they put more textures in this but hopefully the gameplay is amazing.

thanks for the video and post, question is there sli support. I see you didnt include the titan x is it because it will be a single gpu option for 4k. I have two titan x cards with acx coolers and i get about 70-80 fps on witcher 3 at 4k but i wanted to know just in case no sli for fallout 4. the game doesnt look as good as mad max and my cards blow that game away at 4k above 120fps.

looks amazing to me. I enjoy the console graphics too. Idk the game's story and rpg elements/ranking up system are what have always captivated me. did anyone really go to Fallout 3 or New Vegas and be like woah these graphics are fucking amazing? It was never about that. Gameplay and rpg elements have always come first

I have a 980 TI and nvedia GeForce experience optimizes the game to 4k and puts most setting on high/medium with some stuff like god rays off. Cant tell if I like 1080p with everything maxed out or the setting they pick, hard to tell. 4k looks smoother but 1080p maxed graphics has better light

All I want is: Smart AI, short loading screens (witcher 3 best loading screens so far <3), stable fps, min amount of bugs, good story, smart amount of customizable items (fallout 4 has overwhelming) and multiple specs. I'm happy with the last gen graphics, srsly.
