I've seen a lot of these "hey anyone remember toontown? You can still play!" type videos in the past 3 years. They always just focus on only rewritten, maybe there's a mention of clash, but they never touch it much. I'm glad to see it be the main focus of this video, as it's my favorite server, and people for some reason are really hesitant to give it a try.

Glad to finally see a video about Toontown that actually looks into TTCC. There's honestly so much to enjoy in it and I hope more people try it out!

Definitely agree with you on the taskline. Fun fact: It used to be longer, and some old main tasks were turned into side tasks, like the Lying Monkeys task in Toontown Central. If they just made some more main tasks into side tasks I think it would help a lot. I mean the taskline technically isn't required for most things, but still it gets annoying sometimes, especially when it comes to accessing some later-game content. Hope to see you around at some point in-game!

watching one of the few videos of this style to mention corporate clash back when the district attorney's office was still there and people didn't wanna make out with the cog bosses behind a gag n' go truck is certainly an experience and i love it

Okay but seriously, this game has meant so much to me over the years. I met some of my coolest friends through this game. Although I must admit, it's hard to get non-toontown friends to play the game due to how it's structured, LOL

Too bad my internet sucks, otherwise I'd be playing more often like I used to back in the day! Definitely a fun game imo.

Unrelated but I also had this idea for a Mario MMO where it’d be like Bowser’s Fury/Mario Odyssey and set across 3-4 giant maps at launch.

I'm not gonna lie I forgot that toontown existed for a while there because toontown is one of those childhood MMOs that I haven't seen a lot of despite knowing it existed. I should give it a go at some point

I never got to play a lot of these online mmo's because my parents were strict about online stuff when I was very little, so I'm definitely gonna check this out (and force all my friends to play it.)

I freaking LOVED ToonTown. The other MMOs were a bit too complicated for my stupid child brain to comprehend, so this very simple take on the genre with a super appealing aesthetic really worked for me.

It’s at least visually held up surprisingly well tbh. Still looks pretty good for its time.
