Show Zero in Empty Pivot Table Value Cells

Показать описание
For an Excel pivot table, if no data is entered for some items, there will be blank cells in the pivot table values area.

In the example shown in this video, no Banana Bars were sold at stores 3062 or 3659, so those cells are empty in the pivot table.

Instead of leaving these value cells blank, you can change a pivot table option, to show a zero, or other characters, in those cells.

Watch this short video to see the steps.

Visit this page on my Contextures site, for details, and written steps.

Perfect! Such a simple and logical setting. I wish zero was the default. Thank you!

Thanks! It's one of those useful, but well-hidden pivot table settings.
