Excel Pivot Table is a great tool. It’s amazing how quickly you can analyze huge datasets without worrying about human errors.

One of the default settings in Pivot Tables is to show a blank cell when there is no data for the given row/column label.

In most of the cases, it is a good practice to show 0 when there is no value/activity in the data used for the pivot table. At a cosmetic level, it looks better and more consistent with all numbers as the data.

hi sir I need your help I have big data in excel consisting many columns, in this der is two columns one with item description and one with promotion. in promotion it has two things one item with promotion highlighted as sale and other without promotion as Regular and it has been extracted using vlookup. now I wanted to do conditional formatting on item description which are on sale if possible.
