This title is THE DEFINITION of click-bait. "How to Burn with VLC" heavily implies that this is an instruction guide. "It Is Impossible to Burn With VLC" is a much more accurate and acceptable title.

I don't understand why people hate this video. He explained that you can't burn with vlc. I wasn't sure if you could burn with VLC or not. Because of this video i no longer have to mess around trying to do something that isn't possible. This video saved me a big headache.

Software engineer who completely overlooks the Stream option and what it is capable of.

It might not call it 'burning', but VLC can definitely write a file to a dvd.

You 'stream' the file from the source to the disc, and you can even select any transcoding/encoding you want it to during the process of moving the file.

I'm confused what people are pissed about. The video is titled "how to burn with VLC" because thats what we all googled to get here. We had a question. He gave us the answer AND provided a solution. If the guy just spent 30 seconds JUST explaining why you can't, I MIGHT be able to understand, but when he gives a common alternative, that solves the problem for %90 of the people who looked up this video in the first place. Why do you want him to delete useful information? Its not an AD or clickbait, its just an answer and not the one you were hoping for.

I for one appreciate this video because it informs me that despite VLC saying it will burn,
it will not. This just saved me hours of time trying to get VLC to burn, when it won't!
