Many singers start out by singing flat when they go for high notes.

Flat means singing below the desired pitch. Where singing sharp means singing above the desired note.

But actually, there's a fantastic trick to always hitting the right note the first time.

Today, I'll show you how you can use your falsetto voice to actually hit the right notes every time.

Interesting tip. First I've heard of this. I find cupping my ear so I can hear myself helps a lot. Next step is a feedback earpiece.

Almost like falsetto “talking” the note before singing down into the “center” of the target note.

I love this trick! Please give some tips on not singing flat, in general. Why do singers go off key? Is is that their ear is not trained enough? and are there any exercises which can help us prevent singing flat or sharp?

I think I was born with voice like this, I mean my voice like a lazy person even with just talking. So I always sound lazy when singing 😅

Dawg I FEEL THIS I used to try & sing Danny's Song in a higher key than needed (I thought keying down would ruin the song's feel) and I swear every time I got to "every morning when I Boom instantly flat

For some reason I can sing high notes with almost no effort with a country accent but as soon as I remove the accent everything goes absurdly flat. Is there anyone here who could explain why this is?

This is what some kids in my class do and I kinda want to send it to the group chat but I feel like that’s gonna be kinda- y’know. I think they really don’t like head voice because ‘it’s high’ or smth

Thank you I'll try it!
I don't have a piano in my car but that's where I find the time for practice. Any tips?

My music teacher used to tell us to think of it like jumping on top of the notes instead of reaching up for them. Idk how true it is but she also used to say a sharp note sounds better than a flat one.
