For everyone in the comments, please DO NOT use carbon fibre plated shoes as a daily trainer! I did, as a healthy 18 year old male, and they almost ruined my feet. They are NOT designed for slow paces or training daily. Please only use these if you are a fast runner trying to go even faster, not if you're a slow/easy runner looking to go fast.

For daily trainers, I recommend Nike Pegasus 39/40/41.

I’ve been digging the x 1080 line for daily running. I feel like these are more of a race day focused shoe.

As an intermediate/advanced runner, don’t listen to this video. Any shoes with a carbon fiber plate, or full length foam that weak, should never be used as daily trainers. Those are workout or race day shoes. Please don’t waste your money.
I am personally an avid Nike runner, and for safe training, would suggest the Pegasus series, (mostly the 41) the Vomero 17, or Nikes invincible run 3. Happy running!

Is this basically a 1080 with a plate? I like the 1080 but the drop in them gives me achilles and heel pain.

I got the NewBalance Fuel Cell rebel v3s personally and I love them. Basically the same shoe just no carbon fiber plate and $40 cheaper.
