Just got my Gel-nimbus 25s yesterday based on your recommendation and I cannot be more happy with them, so comfy

Triumph 20 would be my pick out of my collection. Saucony are so good at getting the lockdown just right!

The Asics Gel Nimbus has great fit but the Saucony Triumph has a superb PWRRUN insole which add another level of cushion and comfort plus is a lot more affordable.

Hykes Ultra Sport are super light and awesome runners

Superblast is the GOAT. My favorite shoe which can do it all while being very comfortable. Endorphin Speed 3 is almost just as good and so comfortable too.

…95 % better.., but 100 % comfort.., agreed..

Superblast should be considered in the second category as it runs faster than many plated shoes

0:52 I love my superblasts but they are by no means the most comfortable running shoes. It might be because of my slow pace or wide feet but after every longer run (+90 minutes @ 6 km/min) I get blisters on my toes.

Asics Noosa Tris are such an underrated running shoe - absolutely love the 14s.

Hi Ben, switching to barefoot shoes was a game-changer for me. They let my feet move naturally, which helped improve my posture and balance. Over time, I noticed my feet and legs getting stronger too. I wear Hykes Escapes, and they’re comfortable, minimalist, and durable. It’s like getting back to the way our feet are supposed to work.

What do you think about barefoot shoes?

That was the SC FC Supercomp "Trainer" not the SC Supercomp Elite, just for clarification and yes, it is a bit heavy for my liking to. Great energy return though.

Did not expect such high prices. Are there any solid budget options? Or is it not even worth getting a little bit cheaper ones?

Thank you. Just made the move on the Nimbus 26. 💪

I was disappointed myself with nimbus 25s. Couldn’t understand why people thought it was cushy. I admit step-in felt great, but otherwise, just wasn’t for me. Prefer Saucony Triumph on slow days. And even the Superblasts are so much more comfortable for me. Nimbus feels hot, and toebox is too narrow, and the rocker feels nonexistent to me. When I’m tired or going downhill and heel strike, I guess then it shines a little due to so much cushion in the heel, but otherwise, forefoot or mid foot striking, never felt much cushion, and never understood the hype for it, and felt like I wasted money ordering it online. Not a horrible shoe and they seem to last like tanks, but, prefer triumph’s springiness and the Superblasts are great at everything. SC trainers as well, the midsole for me feels like made out of wood, upper is comfy, but midsole foam is so dead and shoes feel heavy/cumbersome after a few miles. But everyone’s feet and tastes different for sure.

Thnaks for the video🎉😊

Found the comments about the Gel Nimbus. As a heavier runner (240lbs), I have had significant issues with hotspots and rubbing. So much so that I have had to sell them.

Love my Asics Gel Nimbus 26. Like wearing a sock with cushioning. The Superblast just didn't sit well on my foot. Great upgrade from my New Balance 880 from last year.
