How to repair a leaking above ground pool

I was really annoyed to. see so much water missing in my Intex above ground pool. It's in its third year so maybe a weld didn't hold up that well. However, I got me a repair kit with adhesive and patch and repaired it for using it another season. Check it out!

Logged in to say thank you for the quick easy video. Video goes straight to business. I went to Lowe’s and grabbed a vinyl pool repair kit. Got home, opened the box, threw the instructions over my shoulder, slapped some glue on the patch, applied it, and boom, summer was saved. Thank you, again!

Just finished the rubber mulch and primed the pump and saw a leak in the middle. Needed the video before going completely crazy. Thanks man

Great video! My lawn was infected by lawn grubs and they had eaten holes in my pool liner all the way through the pool!!! Be careful when putting it on the lawn!

Little tip is to round the edges of the patch. So the patch didn‘t tend to go off on the edges.

Intex pools are the cheapest pieces of 💩… I’ve been through several. You buy it, set it up (looks beautiful)… store it correctly… set-it up the following year… tiny pin hole leaks everywhere! They got some business going. You basically have to buy a pool every year or sit and patch these pools…. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 to the Intex Company.

I've been using the white Gorilla waterproof tape with success. Only issue is when a kid steps on the tape and pushes off, the tape has moved in once instance. The movement caused the hole to tear larger and became a gusher. So a more permanent fix is needed. My dog loves the pool but his nails puncture the bottom when he's jumping out.

Gota leak in oirs was pricing new pools n figured id try to fix it first cuz its half full! Gota buy a kit n see if it work
