I can remember when 4GB of ram was powerful enough on a Windows PC. Way too many resources used these days. I'm happy now fully migrated over to Linux.

This seems more like an advert. Fails to mention the drawbacks of more monitoring and tpm is a security system stopping you from moving your drive to a new system without reinstalling windows, this is a plus for Microsoft not the user.

And that is bull. You can run Windows 11 on a Celeron that is 5 years old, which means normal processors like i3, i5, i7, i9, etc from 10 years ago will run fine. I can put WIndows 11 on my MS Surface Pro 3 (which only has 4gb of RAM and 4th gen i5). It runs fine and NO ONE WANTS CO-PILOT. Ya, let me have something spy and send my info to MS. That was a problem with Windows 10, they started stealing your data and now want all of your data.

This video is AI generated, heres a list:
0:05 No Windows 11 is not a completely new OS, its based on Windows 10 with some "improvements"
0:16 This is not called improvement, this is called bloat
0:20 Nobody cares about AI
0:23 "real time graphics rendering" computers have been able to do that for at least three decades
0:25 My over decade old Thinkpad with 8gb of ram runs perfectly under Linux, computers should be built to last and software should be built to support older hardware (also with maintenance any computer can run like new).
0:42: Heres a better comparison, imagine big brother but owned by Microsoft and using your personal info to sell you stuff. In exchange they generate inaccurate information and soulless content (like this video)
1:04 I thought copilot "stayed on your computer" maybe think twice before using an OS that monitors everything you do and sends it to the cloud
1:27 I thought that copilot used cloud computing, if it uses the cloud then why does it need a local processor. Contradictions because AI isnt self aware and the person who published this didnt review it.
1:49 those are the requirements for Windows 11, not copilot
3:50 Using Windows 11 in general is sluggish and frustrating expereince
4:15 Vulkan does those things better and its open source
5:00 Secure boot isnt secure and does little more then add barriers to Linux installation, also the biggest security vulnerability is the end user
6:00 Hers a simple version, its worse then Windows 7
6:15 Windows 10 also had some stupid hardware requirements
6:25 No its a way for Microsoft to pressure people into buying new computers
6:40 Yeah but if my decade old car shut off and stopped working I would get pissed, especially if I could fix it by installing open source firmware (proving that its still good)
7:40 benefits: N/A
drawbacks: everything
TLDR: Windows 11 sucks

Windows 11 is a bloated, spyware ridden mess. I finally fully moved to Linux and i don't see myself going back any time soon(Microsoft forced my hand). My computers run smoothly and clean which is a refreshing change after frustrating Windows Performance. It takes just a little bit effort and you have full control over your hardware again. It's amazing really. Oh and something i did not expect - I have Wattage counter connected to my main rig and and I've noticed average power draw around 10% lower week to week. Nice bonus.

With Win11 you need processing power to handle bloatware and overhead. Misleading video.

Any comparative benchmarks to back this all up? Seems more like clcikbait then geniuos, realistic, useful and accurate information.

So, Microsoft want's everyone to upgrade to the most expensive systems available. I'm sure the foreign manufactures will love the boost to the bottom line.

You cant run W11 on a cpu that doesn't have Firmware TPM2.0, Motherboard TPM doesn't work, so 8th gen or Ryzen 2000 as a minimum.

I don't need copilot and all the bloat in windows 11 make me need to upgrade to 32GB of ram to play games I was playing for years.. so many windows 11 features should be optional. My poor 16GB of ram.

the main point is do you need any of it, do you want any of it? if the question is no then windows 11 is looking even worse than windows 8 or vista
explaining system requirements in this video is "hey grandpa you need new computer" especially since most computers that can smootly run youtube probably already met all the requirements, those that are unable to play youtube probably have no hope
tpm protecting you from owning your own computer. but tpm 1.0 o 1.5 should be enough for microsoft to run happyly, requiring 2.0 is artificial bar nothing more, unless tpm 1 security is already broken open
and funny thing is celeron n 4000 series in hp stream laptops is supported while 6 gen i7 or first gen ryzen r7 isn't
instead of makingall of it mandatory and annoy all long time users microsoft should instead make all of those extra features optional! starting from new user interface on ai integration ending
if you only use computer to play games and watch cat videos or chat on twitter none of that is what you need, want or benefit from

Copilot is the worst spyware to ever be put on a computer. And you like it? Switch to Linux.
