I always interpreted Grevious being a “coward” as if he can’t intimidate you he will flee. He’s following Dooku’s advice because that is the only way to defeat a Jedi in a lightsaber duel. If you can’t break their focus then you’re not very likely to win. A lot of instances where fans say Grievous was treated poorly in 2008 Clone Wars is usually a moment where he is fighting unconventional warriors that are often underestimated or he is out gunned by an enemy ship. Grevious is effective in 2003 because he managed to scare his opponents and his reputation as a “coward” didn’t exist yet.

Can we just talk about the difference between prequel general grievous and clone wars (2003) grievous? Like, he's sort of a joke in the movies, but in the clone wars series, Genndy Tartakovsky gave him the RESPECT he deserves, treating him as an unstoppable force, and it's my favorite representation of him ever.

Why does grievous have green light sabers if he can't be force sensitive because green light sabers mean u r more connected to the force
