Dooku was instrumental in the transformation of grievous into the cyborg, orchestrating a fatal crash that would require the Kaleesh to agement his body with cybernetics for his continued survival. As all sith desired, Dooku wanted more power and hoped to one day overthrow Palpatine. As part of his plan, Dooku bathed greviouses mortally wounded body in the blood of his old friend sifo dias, hoping that Grievous would become force sensitive. He also altered his brain to become more aggressive. He hoped that this force sensitivity combined with added aggression and his cybernetically enhanced body would provide Dooku with a truly terrifying dark side welder that could one day defeat Palpatine. Fortunately for Palpatine, this procedure would fail with Dooku scorning Grievous as a failure. Palpatine would learn from this experience by ensuring Darth Vader's cybernetic suit was nowhere near as powerful as Greviouses.

Dooku was far too tame to ever want to rule the galaxy like a traditional Sith. I mean he hardly ever went by his Sith nomenclature, Darth Tyranus, and he was far “less” brutal than the Emperor or Vader were over his constituents.

All he would have had to have done to make sure that general grievous was for sensitive would be to keep more of his body intact and add way more midi-chlorians.

I thought about this before. If you were to replace 50% of your blood with midi-chlorians what would happen? Would you simply suffocate and die as if you got rid of 50% of your blood or would you be able to live on using the force to help you move?

It’s incredible how they come up with details like that to old movies!
Like, why didn’t Darth Vader have such a bad ass robot body like Grievous? Because the tech in the 70s couldn’t make such an suit and make it believable. But they could in the 2000s(CGI ofcourse).
So then they had to come up with details like these, which actually makes perfect sense!
