Full Body Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage Treatment ✨ ASMR Soft Spoken Personal Attention RP

Little bit of medical, little bit of pseudoscience, and a lot of massage! Manual Lymphatic Drainage aims to direct the lymph in your body to the lymph nodes, reducing swelling, pain, and stiffness. This massage works on the whole body: face, neck/chest, arms/fingers, and legs/toes. We'll start by prepping the nodes, helping them to drain out before directing excess fluid towards them.

While it's not woo-ey per se, Manual Lymphatic Drainage/Massage isn't well verified as a scientifically effective treatment, and therefore is 📢 PSEUDOSCIENCE 📢 From Wikipedia: "Pseudoscience consists of statements, beliefs, or practices that claim to be both scientific and factual but are incompatible with the scientific method." This video is only intended for relaxation purposes, and I'm just an actor on the Internet.

❥ What Is ASMR? From Oxford Languages: "a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound. 'ASMR is triggered by things like whispering voices, paper tearing, and scalp massage.'"

❥ I want y'all to have a safe environment here regardless of where you come from, who you love, what you look like, you name it. I don't tolerate discrimination or hatred based on attributes you can't change like where you were born, what color you are, if you have a disability, or who you love– above all, be kind to one another. We're all just people, just trying to do our thing.

❥ If you want to donate (but don't ever feel pressured to!) I have three ways to go about it:

❥ Check me elsewhere on the Web:

❥ My equipment:
Audio Recording – Rode NT1-A Microphones with Zoom H4N Recorder
Filming – Lumix G85 Camera

❥ Have a whale of a day and a good rest of your night! :)

I'm running out of ways to say "Great Video Calliope"; She just puts out too many great videos.

Unrelated to anything, my wife and I recently adopted a cat named Calliope. We did not rename her, that was her name.

Related, amazing video, the excitement when explaining the history is palpable and its that genuine excitement that makes the videos amazing.

I always appreciate how technical your ASMR is. Tingly and informative 😁🧡

I love how there's calming ASMR but also I end up learning little tidbits throughout (like the names of the nodes and where to take the popliteal pulse)

"Might I inquire about why it is that you sought this treatment out today?"
Honestly, I just wanted to hear you talk.
"Hm. I see. Yes, we can absolutely address that."
Yay!

You do great work. I always look forward to your new videos. You're definitely one of my favorite ASMR creators. Your voice really helps me with my anxiety and PTSD. Thank you.

This was incredibly relaxing! I found myself actually wondering whether this was actually woo when listening; it sounded plausible! Thanks for the clarifying notes in the description.

I was hoping you’d do a lymph drainage massage one day! I guess I could have asked for it but why do things the easy way?

Hope you’re feeling a just a little bit better, Callopie.
