Proper Draw Length Mistake

Draw length is at least an inch and a half to long

I hate to say it but in 23 years of bowhunting and buying from a dozen dealers only 2 were capable of a correct setup and tune. That’s why I learned to setup my own equipment shortly after getting into archery.

Draw length set at too long so he doesn't have a reliable and repeatable spot on his jaw where he can anchor his hand. He has a peep sight, but without an anchor point I don't think he will be very accurate at longer shots.

Is the draw length too long? If I remember correctly, you want the notch of the arrow to rest just by the corner of your mouth

Draw length is way to long..and when you shorten your draw length you might have to relocate your peep sight

No anchor point on his nose or kisser for starters the draw lengths is way to long I'm sure I'd find more in person

Wayy to long, anchor position should be on the jawline not behind and the tip of his nose should be able to touch that string. Maybe 1.5" to long im guessing maybe a little more. That being a new mathews bow id think draw length could be adjusted without mods but i don't know much about them.

Draw length is supposed to rest at the corner of your mouth I think?

I put the line right in the middle of my nose and lock my thumb right at where mt jaw hinges. Double Recurve though and no fancy release gadget

That draw length is way too long his anchor hand shouldn't be behind his ear and the tip of his nose should be able to touch the string so he can acquire his peep mind you some people shoot the way he is anchoring and have the bow drawn that way they get used to it but yeah the way its setup sets him up for failure as it can be extremely difficult to be consistent with that draw length I'm hoping it's not a mathews at this point simply because, and I could be wrong, I believe to adjust the draw length you have to buy a new mod to adjust that draw length and again I could be wrong I have only test fired very few mathews bows but I think you have to buy a different mod to change the draw length and spend more money again I could be wrong on that simply cause I haven't shot many mathews bows
