The one with the distance-depending clicker position was new for me. Thanks.

I’ve never moved my clicker for different distances. I must say Ashe this is one of the most informative videos I’ve ever seen.

I'm a new senior archer. My coach has not added a clicker to my bow yet. I do struggle with feeling like I'm arching my back at the conclusion of the shot. Additionally I struggle with getting my draw hand up against my jaw. I'm working on improving the range of motion in my draw shoulder hoping that will improve my form. I'm enjoying your videos, thank you!

Thank you very much, I will pay more attention to this, besides, I didn’t know that at different distances, due to the angle, the tension can change to me, my trainer says that what you do at 3 meters is ideal, but you have to transfer everything to a distance (60 meters) which, unfortunately doesn't come out very well

Hello, normally your draw length does not change. It is your movement that changes, the further you draw the more you raise the bow arm but you do not lower the string arm as much, the two arms are no longer in the same alignment, which is normally not the right method. Normally the T posture must be kept, so the same draw length...

This is my coach's way of seeing it and I have to say it works, so no change in reach and clicker position.

Could you explain the relationship between bow length and draw length?

Yup! I have three positions on my clicker. Short/Medium/long. My three sets of arrows have 1/4" differences.

Looking like I'm overdrawing while underdrawing is exactly what I've been having issues with this season, especially as I don't like shooting the lower spots at 18m because my position feels really unstable and forced.
I noticed that I couldn't expand nicely because my right elbow didn't come around enough and I was using my biceps to force the clicker. Lots of clicker play and concentration later I'm finally able to get to a proper full draw again and expand nicely through the clicker if I don't let my bow shoulder come up.
Sidenote: I'm definitely still somewhat overbowed but I'm working on it.

Also, the 'pushing' of the bow arm can have some effect on draw length, which is the bane of my existence. Can u do a video on how much should the bow arm should 'push'?

Doing both trad and Olympic style, I always try to keep the same draw length and tilt back for different distance

Good to know that I can actually move the clicker between distances!

Yes I have moved my clicker as distances change.

I’d like to hear more about the ways to compensate for the difference in form on longer distances. I shoot with the same form up to 50m, but after that I have to tilt the body. It’s hard to do it consistently though.

I rarely move My clicker with changing distances. I did it once at 70 meters
