😩 Pain On The Front Of The Shoulder - Bicep Tendinitis
Показать описание
I made a post a couple of weeks back, about similar pain on the front of the shoulder and today’s video will relate to that, as one of the injuries that occurs here, can basically present with similar symptoms to those we discussed in the first video. So make sure to watch that and then come back here.
Obviously, I say similar symptoms, not the same. Bicep tendinitis is a more serious injury than the tension that could potentially come from trigger points in the infraspinatus muscle.
I wanted to show you how close everything is in the anterior shoulder and how easy it would be for the long head tendon to essentially be compressed and by repetitive bad motion, eventually develop inflammation and tendinitis.
What is interesting to note here is that both bicep heads attach to the scapula. The short attaches to the acromion process itself and the long slightly posterior, even though it glides over the top of the humerus.
I say this in the full video, but essentially when you raise your arm up, you compress the long head tendon, but if you have no issues with it, you will not feel pain. Only when the tendon is swollen and hurt, then movements overhead will create pain, but overall the tendon doesn’t have much space around it.
You are welcome to head to the Bulletproof Shoulders & Neck course in order to watch the full 5-minute video. (link below or link in bio)
