This is a very early Sedelmaier Commercial. Sedelmaier was an Advertising Agency out of Chicago. They were famous for the "Where's the Beef" Wendy's commercial as well as Federal Express and PSA, etc. etc. Amoco was the first company that I can recall in the USA that sold Lead Free gasoline. It was back as far as 1967. By 1971 most gasoline brands offered a lead free gas as many new automobiles required to due to emission equipment. BP which owns the Amoco Brand just opened up a dozen new Amoco Stations in the New York area. They are reviving the name. Even though Amoco hasn't been used in years as a brand name, it seems to have strong brand recognition with people.

On all my new cars, UNLEADED was the ONLY FUEL TO USE. AMOCO PREMIUM #93, operated FINE, on my Buick 455CID 4v (76) & (78)Chevy vette L82, 4sp. The vette was thirstier. I, ONLY USED AMOCO.

The car company whose brochure he's reading from offered a two- barrel and a 4- barrel and he had to THINK about it? Someone like that should be looking at mopeds - he doesn't DESERVE a car!
