Mine has 2600 hours and has not had a nozzle change, still the original nozzle and it continues to run without problems

This makes me really appreciate how simple they made things for their A1 series.

We have never swapped nozzles on the unit at our business and we've never had a problem

I see why creality called their unicorn nozzles quick swap.

Surprising that how smooth even FDM printers can do nowadays.
All plastic (pla, petg, fdm) extruding printers are FDM right?

300? I'm still on the factory nozzle on my X1C with over 2800 hours, printing CF, ABS, Nylon, PC, you name it. No quality issues whatsoever... I have however replaced the stainless steel nozzle with a hardened steel one on the P1P after about 1700 hours after I noticed quality issues at TPU of all things.

300 hours? Bro it was probably just semi-clogged. Most guys who print regularly will hit that number in 2 months but won’t need to change a nozzle for years.

I had well over 1000 hours on the stock nozzle before I swapped out for the hardened and just because I wanted to use abrasive filament ....still worked fine

Is this how you have to change nozzles in a p1p! Jesus! A1 for the win in that category

the whole hot end isn't overly expensive and saves doing all this as they are hot-swappable.

They really need to do a revision with the A1 hotend man

Elegoo Saturn 4 or Elegoo Neptune 4? Or something else?
I’m looking to get my first printer and want to make detailed figurines as well as larger prints such as game props and the sort. Which one?

Why so low on hours? Why replace a nozzle? Only reason i see is fouling up. But an ender 3 can just remove the nozzle while hot and the rubbish stays on the filament bit.

Do you see how black brunt plasticon the metal tip clean it, it makes it easy for filament to catch on which causes these issues. I had the same issue. I used a razor blade to scrape it off and got it shinny again it it prints beautiful again. May not be the right way but hey it worked. Over 1.6k hours on the same nozzle. Mainly use petg CF, and ASA
