Hey guys today i wanted to answer a question I've been seeing a ton of and that's "does my graffiti tag name suck?". The short answer is no, not at all. most tag names are great infact, its just a matter of learning how to use it .

Hey dudes today i wanted to test out this short feature because last time i did it i did it wrong lol. I want to upload more of these for sure, and today's I wanted to take a quick second to answer i question i get almost daily. I know i made a video about this, but new people sub over time and don't always see those vids so i figured this was the perfect time since I can bring value, AND test out the shorts feature all at once. Fun story ⭐️

Years ago when I was living in Santa Monica California I was walking around Venice beach and I ran into Seymour Cassel (R.I.P) at a juice bar
“And I was like, excuse me but are you the actor Seymour Cassel ?” And he responds
“Why yes I am, can I help you ?”
And I told him that I was a big fan of sone of his movies and that he was a really good actor and then I asked him if was really true that he gave Saul Hudson “Slash” from guns in roses his nickname ??
He replies “why yes I did”
And so I ask him if he could give me a nickname right here on the fly
He’s says “well, I don’t know you but what do you like to do ?”
Me - “I like to paint 🎨”
Cassel replies “ ok, Mr. you like to PAINT ?”
Me - “I love to paint mr.Cassel”
Cassel “ we’ll ok, mr ! You go paint !”
Me - “ soooo… my nickname should be Mr.paint ? Not Slice or Axe or Snake ? Or some cool rockstar name ?”
Cassel “ No ! You said that you like to paint so use that”

Grabbed my juice and said thank you sir, but before I leave can I ask you for one more thing

Cassel “sure what’s up”
Me - “can I get a picture with you ?”

Had some chick from the drink shop take our picture together and went on my marry way

And that is how I got the name Mr.Paint from the man who gave Saul Hudson his nickname and I’ve had it ever since

I got better by working on every single letter in the alphabet and taking 4-5 letters I'm really good at and jumbling them up in multiple ways to create a word that sounds good and flows really nice .

you do have to at least find what name flows according to YOUR preference, so sadly enough for all you toys out there, you (probably wont get amazing results from writing wek or sano...

Hopefully it’s somewhat original, i’ve been putting out “Alien” and “Lost” with both only on stickers so far. Alien is def more bubbles, but lost is a fast tag. Want to make it more complex or fancy tho, any suggestions are awesome

Mine is Mt Yhvh, it comes from the Hebrew name for mount Horeb. There's a skatepark in Waukesha called "Horeb" that has a certain connection to me

first i was really satisfied with the name (sanik), but when i learned about fundamentals im not that comfortable with it. at first i was like S is great to start the name, there are plenty of ways to draw it, but now im hating 'SA' combo because 'S' pushes 'A' away (i like doing bigger bottom on 'S' thus both letter are wide at the bottom and narrow at the top(i dont like doing variant structure 'A' with extra box at the top, which would solve the problem) and i get quite big negative space between the letters, which i dont have on the other side of name, having 3 vertical boxes next to each other in 'NIK' with almost no neg. space

This really makes me want to change but i dont i put so much efford in perfecting my tag and doing that all over again isnt on my bucket list
