All those dishes are uncooked but they process the meat in other ways and/or shower it in spices and what not to make it palatable. The faces of people eating "real" raw meat and organs speak volumes.

At the very least raw meat needs to be frozen or preserved in some way unless it's very fresh and even then that wouldn't account for parasitic infection or anything like that, that'll just keep it from rotting, so having to soak corn in lye isn't the argument you think it is.

The thing is, you’re also made out of raw meat.
