The first three on your list struck close to home, and I’d love to see sequels to those games too. They may be niche, but they’re MY niche.

You activated my Neurons when you said "A VTM CRPG by Owlcat".

I now NEED that.

There is a VtM CRPG being developed. I'm a part of an indie team that won the VtM Game Jam in 2022 that has continued to develop it since the Game Jam. We're waiting till we finish developing our next demo before we talk to the World of Darkness team and Paradox to change the current name from "Vampire: Blood & Vice" to officially use the VtM trademark because we couldn't use it for the Game Jam release.

Owlcatgames with a Vampire: The Masquerade game would be AWESOME. I've loved both of their Pathfinder games and Rogue Trader and they could 100% pull off the setting properly, seeing what they've already done.

Arcanum 2 would be FANTASTIC. It's the game that made me fall in love with fantasy settings and steampunk. Arcanum and Fallout 1 are the first games I ever immersed myself deeply in and played the heck out of. The setting is so unique and the dichotamy of magic and technology is really cool for a setting. Shadowrun and similar settings have a mix of it, but the contrast between them and how it impacts the world is what made Arcanum feel so unique and fun.

I also really enjoyed Tyranny and think a sequel would be fun. Tyranny and PoE are two really cool settings and Obsidian is REALLY good at worldbuilding and framing a setting for a game.

100% for Arcanum, such a great universe with a unique take on the genre imo

Owlcat doing Vampire: the Masquerade? ABSOLUTELY! That would be amazing.

I want a new XCOM. Every XCOM like game just doesn’t hit like losing a unit or getting the lucky shot to barely win a mission.

A modern CRPG Fallout game, made by Larian with BG3-level animations/ voice work ect...Imagine.

Tyranny was great. We need a second part since we got some unfinished business with Kyros.

I love the Harebrained Schemes games. The Shadowrun trilogy is still one of my favorite CRPG universes and I'd love more of it.

But aside from Shadowrun they also did that turn based BattleTech game. I have been playing that game a LOT on and off through the last year, just going through the career mode. And most games in that universe tend to focus on the simulation aspect or on tactical battles with all the clans, factions and characters being just a bit of a colorful background. I think it would be fairly easy to make a CRPG in that universe. There's a ton of lore to play around with. But I think there could be dangers as well since you'd have to do mech battles for sure, but you'd also have to have personal interactions where your character and your companions walk around space stations or planet-based cities or within ships. And sometimes such wildly different systems could clash like in those Owlcat games that join CRPG mechanics with managerial or grand strategy elements. Still, I'd absolutely love a CRPG in that setting. Even if some people would prefer the mech combat while hating the on-foot sections.

A sci fi crpg set in the same universe as the movie The Fifth Element would be a lot of fun.

On the Lovecraftian CRPG, a Japanese company Alchemy Blue has made a series called "Cthulhu Mythos RPG" that sports NES JRPG graphics and a robust character creation/customization system, with one of it's early installment in English on steam.

Personally would love a CRPG set in the ASOIAF universe. The world of Game of Thrones has tons of okay video games, but nothing truly knocking things out of the park. The only truly great GOT game I could think of are mods for Mount & Blade Bannerlord, and Crusader Kings 3. I'd love to see someone attempt a CRPG set in Westeros. Medieval Politics, Cultures, War, Religion, and Magic. Seems like something perfect for a CRPG!

Arcanum is one of my all time favorite games and would love to see a new version of the game especially in a isometric style crpg... Clockwork Revolution looks very cool indeed, but it doesn't look to be an Arcanum 2.

I just want an Icewind Dale 2 enhanced edition, I loved that as a kid

I'd like an epic turn based CRPG with a 6 character party that plays and feels like Pathfinder WOTR, but with a AAA budget and high quality cut scenes and full voice acting like BG3!

Ohhh, I've got a few of these. I'm going to have to withstrain myself.

1) Greyhawk. There have only ever been 3 video games in Gygax's own setting, and only one (Temple of Elemental Evil) was an actual RPG. I'd take D&D back to it's grittier, Sword & Sorcery roots, with only the classic seven races, more lethal combat, relatively low magic and street-level adventure with the political machinations and great powers of the setting quietly moving pieces all around them.

2) Mechwarrior. There's long been a tabletop Battletech RPG, but we've never had a video game adaptation of that system. Basically, take the Hare-Brained Schemes Battletech game from a few years ago, and add in the ability to get out for your mech and roam around the cities, talk to NPCs and maybe even get into trouble on foot.

3) Undernauts the CRPG. This is a weird one, I'll admit. Basically, there was a Japanese first person dungeon crawler a few years ago called Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi. It's set in an alternative 1970s where massive, monster-filled structures appeared all around the world. Team of mercenaries would enter these "dungeons", kill the inhabitants and stripmine the place for a new form of energy. I loved the hell out of that game, but I kept imagining what it would look like with Owlcat or Larian style gameplay.

That might do me for now.

It'll never happen but I really want a full on crpg set in the Mass Effect universe.

That series had a ton of untapped potential when it came to player choice and consequence, branching paths, skill checks, etc. Also, while I enjoyed the action combat in the later games, a full on turn based tactical combat system with the ability to combo party member biotic and tech powers would be incredible.
