Hello all. Fawfulthegreat here with my newest video: A countdown of my 5 personal favorite Mario role-playing games.

Be warned: I will go deep into some of these stories, so there will be many spoilers. If you haven't played these games and don't want to be spoiled, I advise you not to come here until you've played them.

I'm the only that thinks Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga is the best Mario RPG? C'mon, i thinks he's mechanics are more fun than all the M&L Games

I absolutely adore superstar saga and bowsers inside story. I would have liked for Fawful to be in dream team :(

The Mario RPGs are the best part of the Mario franchise.  None of the platformers have any edge on most of the RPGs, except for maybe SMW but for mostly nostalgia.  

My top 5 would be:

I agree with you at the number 1 spot. Super paper Mario will forever be the best story of any Mario game

I really want to love Origami King for its story, because it really seems like an intricate ride, more in-line with the old Paper Mario games, but the battle system is just... horrendous. Even Sticker Star's gameplay was better (there I could easily skip the battles and just play the game). I can only choke through so much of Origami King at one time.

+fawfulthegreat64 Super Paper Mario is my favorite Mario rpg, too!!! ^-^ Tied with Super Mario RPG overall, but man... the sheer unpredictability, feels and hilarious moments I've experienced playing through this game for the first time... :') And to think, my love for this game started to flourish the moment Old Man Watchit' from Yold Town got pulled out a flipping phone. °o° (What!?)... Twists, depts, traps, quiz shows, dating sim, space shooter, defying gravity, writing down solutions B(, whats?, dying, old school rpg scene, the list goes on... So glad I'm not the only won who like this gem so much. You da man, fawfulthegreat64. ;) Subbed

I kinda wish dream team was higher because it’s my favorite Mario and Luigi game. Superstar saga over bowser inside story I like bowsers inside story more. Yes and my favorite game and the first Paper Mario game I actually beat was Super Paper Mario and love that game the music is too good Dimentio is one my favorite villians.

The original Paper Mario is definitely my favorite. It's almost as great as my favorite Mario game Luigi's Mansion.
