Weighted dips are 1 of the most useful movements for building upper body pushing strength for climbing, vaulting, punching, blocking, & more. Combined with weighted pull-ups & chin-ups, weighted dips are 1 of the fastest ways to develop an explosive upper body.

Easier progressions: 1) jumping dip + eccentric 2) P-bars dip 3) Russian dip
Harder: 1) weighted dip w/ more weight 2) weighted Russian dip 3) weighted muscle-up/climb-up

If the dip bars are high enough, you can put a dumbbell on top of each foot with legs straight; so this way you have 2 dumbbells = more weight
