I've heard Navy Seal guys on different shows, Sean Ryan, etc, say that when they're in serious trouble, behind enemy lines, the Rangers are the ones called to rescue them. They said when you want to take out a country's leader, you send the seals. When you want to send a terrifying message to the enemy, send the Rangers. Respect for all those badass's!

It's a big difference. The seals are a scalpel, the Rangers are a freaking hammer and chisel. You don't substitute one for the other. Seals are ninjas and rangers are a wrecking crew

My step Father was a Air Born Ranger. Made it home from Vietnam with many medals. Worked at the Ford Plant. Retired two years before His death in 2018. He died from Agent Orange. I was in the Army. I seen no war time. Thanks to those who did see war. Your the real Hero's...❤...God bless you all...

The rangers are the best large scale special mission unit in the world. The big issue with this is people want to claim this unit is better then that unit. Ted kennedy said it best. Every unit is the best in thier respective mission set. In his own words "i wouldnt want to fight seals anywhere near the water" Special Forces Green Berets are the best at destabilization operations etc. Our special mission units are all the best.

Being a marine I respect that but also remember the Rangers are the largest group of Special Forces. You can achieve a lot of things with numbers.

Apples and oranges. You don’t remove a splinter with a hammer. Conversely, you don’t build a house with tweezers. Rangers and seals and Delta all have their missions.
