I really, REALLY wanted to like this show, but I can't. This latest episode, like its predecessors, was just...meh. No real humor, no real challenge, and a final competition that was literally lifted from Season 2, episode 10 of The Grand Tour (down to the female rider demonstrating the barrel race course). Not even a Stig speed lap.

Top Gear, wherever and with whomever it's made, should be "ambitious but rubbish." These episodes have been neither. Please, pair Jethro back with Jonny Lieberman, and send the other two back to their respective garages.

City boys with no idea on what to use trucks for. If you are going to do a tug of war at least use the electronic locking diff on the Ford. Or make it interesting, throw 2, 000lb's of payload to each and see which drivetrain holds up to the beating.

These guys actually succeeded in making me feel sorry for the manufacturers. Granted, they probably went into this, knowing full well that this is Top Gear, and they would probably never get their trucks back in pristine condition, but still....
